used in conjunction with a vehicle detection device, it can also update the amount of paid time remaining on the meter display.  Free time can be added to the meter when a vehicle pulls in, or time can be wiped from the meter when a vehicle leaves. 

Time can also be pushed to the meter display when integrated with the ParkPal pay by cell system.

The MeterLink wireless module attaches to the APM-E Series II meter mechanism housed in a standard POM base model zinc housing.

While this wireless technology is designed to support most POM software, it requires APM-E Rev8 (limited functionality) or APM-E Series II POM meters to provide the useful meter auditing and monitoring functionality.

The unit, which can use 2.4GHz/915MHz/868MHz RF transceivers, is capable of reliable detection based on typical installations with up to 100% accuracy.
